Cocoguru Adigemane is a pure vegetarian restaurant located at Nehru Nagara, Puttur a town in coastal Karnataka. We specialise in serving traditional Mangalorean cuisine prepared using pure coconut oil from our own mill. The venture is promoted by the couple Suprabha and Keshava Ram from Bonanthaya family. Bonanthaya family are also promoters of Cocoguru coconut oil. “Adigemane” means “kitchen” in coastal dialect of Kannada. We use high quality ingredients, maintain good hygiene and cleanliness yet offer food at affordable prices. We extensively use technology to simplify our operations and make it convenient to customers. Being environmentally sustainable we process wastewater for reuse, use food waste to generate biogas and keep surroundings clean. Food is an integral part of our culture at Mangaluru. The typical Mangalorean dishes include Pathrade, Dose, Idli, Moode, Pundi, Uppittu, Avalakki, Buns, Goli Bhaje, Podi, Chattambade, Neerulli Bhaje, Haalbai, Genasale etc. People here are fond of their meals using boiled rice and served on banana leaves.


Proprietor’s Profile

Suprabha K Bonanthaya aged 35 started Cocoguru Adigemane in 2023 with her husband Keshava Ram Bonanthaya. She graduated with MCA from NMAMIT, Nitte in 2011. She worked in the earlier start up for Cocoguru coconut oil and last assumed the responsibility of Brand Manager. She took a 5 years break from career to raise 2 children Kshipra (6 years daughter) and Kshiteesha (5 years old son). She likes dressing up, makeup, social gatherings, family and traveling.
